This course will explain how Lean developed as a result of the Toyota Production System. It will also introduce the core concepts of Lean and explain how they are used alongside Six-Sigma and The Theory of Constraints to improve manufacturing processes.
On completion of this course, participants will have a greater understanding of:
- How lean can be combined with Six-Sigma to increase the quality of manufacturing processes
- How lean tools and techniques can be used to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing processes
